    Default "River" classical scultpure (WIP)

    Hello,
This sculpture was originally made by the sculptor Caffieri. It's rendered in mental ray with SSS, base mesh in maya, and the rest in Zbrush. C & C are appreciated. Thanks!

first to say great sculpt, but i think the shader looks odd and too much digital.

I agree its a great sculpt and piece but the shader in the first 2 lets it down a bit and IMO this would look fantastic with a better shader such as marble or you know those shaders most use for pieces of his type.

    Keep it up m8 !

Thanks to everyone for their feedback! Here is an update, I re-did the sss shader. I find it hard to make marble out of it. I still haven't baked the normal maps, so some of the detail is lost, and I have to fix some proportions on the forearm and the pose.

    Wonderful sculpt

That thing needs some good old fashioned dirt in the cavities.
