Hello everyone. I this thread is not dead...yet.

Just wanted to show you what im working on now. I'v allways been a fan of gamesworkshop, blizzard and epic and never seem to get bored of spacemarines and when one of me mate showed me Vitaly Bulgarov's awsome stuff i thought "H*ll, i have to try and make one myself".

because my sketching is to rusty i just used zbrush as concept-medium. everything exept head is made out of zsphears.

    Marine3DConcept.jpg

I wanted to a spacemarine/tank that was made for city fighting and clearing of streets. It very old and used but the driver have allways been soldiers that have been crippled. The animation for it would be heavy and slow.

Ive allready started to work on the real thing so will post updates in a while.

Here is a touched up version of my muay thai orc. If everything goes well i might get a 2 meter X 1.5 meter print of it

The orc is amazing! Terrific facial features I took a look at your website, everything's just top notch. I'm actually in the middle of doing one of the environment tests from Bizarre's website

And you're getting a 2 meter print? How much does that cost?!?!?

Hey great stuff, what matcap are you using for that last picture of your orc? Looks like RS_Greyresin, but there is a lot more contrast it seems.
Check out my sketchbook HERE! C & C Welcomed and appreciated.

The orc is phenomenal. I love the expression of his mouth. What was your technique for making the wrapping on his hands?

The mech suite is looking cool too. It's nice to see something like that in its developmental stage.

Please let us know how you did those hand wraps! Thanks.

petekasim: Hehe thanks. Cool, I'll keep my thumbs crossed for you. It was the diablo 1 intro cinematic that made me want to do this proffessinon so some day i might look for a job there myself. But I have a long way to go though, if even possible.

Yea if everything goes allright i'll get the print done today. Dono what itll cost, my dad works in the printing business and theyll just use my pic as a "testprint".

Btw, ace stuff and nice shapes in your thread mate.

cemond: Thanks man. Think its called Rogelio-clay9.

dustinbrown: Hehe, thanks man. The gloves are made out of a "zsausage" (the topology isnt animation friendly at all). I used claytube tool to sketch out the cloth in the mesh. Then after that it was just going over the modell with standard brush with brushmod sat to a negative and make everything sharp and work overall. Movetool was allso used allot to make the cloth work with the orcs hand etc. It was quite timeconsuming. Next time i might just exctrude a polygon around a CV curve in maya and have actual mesh for each wrap, but at the time i coudnt be bothered.

That Muay Thai Orc is great I really like the growl shape of the mouth. I thought wow thats a big 3d print, cool, as well. That character would be great on your wall in a large poster format. Maybe you could do a run of 100 and we can all have one. I got a quote for a A3 Digital print the other day for about US$20 (NZ$45). Your space Marine looks pretty Quake II, he almost has the rocket launcher on that right arm.

Hello peoples! I got my prints today. I acctually got two! The first is vinyl (its acctually like stickytape ) and 260X195 cm and the other one is a nice print on paper and is 190X155 cm. Me and my dad on the photo. The company that printed them acctually liked it so they might use it for more stuff.

Oh hehe thanks The mesh is not very nice. just transpose it from an outstretched hand and just cared how the end result was in zbrush. Here is the mesh though.
