so i started a new project, the twiztid action figure from sota toys
and this is what i got so far, i just started 3 day ago




if you wonder why is so bad, i dont have the real thing, im using this image as refernce, so im filling the blanks myself,

Pretty sweet looking gasmask there, especially since its from WWII. They arent the easiest things to model.

Thanks guys, i dunno why but i like all the WWII paraphernalia, i made an Allies Helmet not long ago for a different project, ill post a couple of shots of that later on

But for now here's the final version of the Gas Mask, yeah im surprised too i finished somenthing

Render took about 50 minutes somehow prob my fault tho but i wonder if theres an easier way, youll see i have one of those crappy Dell Optiplex, it sounds like a hair drier when is under pressure, in other words, it hurted lol.

ill make a comp. with this, a red flag in the back or something, i just dont have PS installed at the moment

Looks great! Will you do some post work in photoshop and make the lenses transparent?

transparent? that would be really nice, but im not sure i can do that, i was thinking more in mirror refelction, maybe a nuclear explosion or a green cloud of whatever looks nice, i also wanted to add some reflectivity to the mask, make it look more plastic, maybe even wet, but ill have to figure out how i cant think of how to rite now.

anyway check this cover i made for my friends record. some more WWII flavor, well almost :P

Very nice indeed. The rust textures fit well with the model. For the gasmask's material, you could use the plastic toy material, or go into the material properties in the top menu and increase the specular settings. That will give it more of a glare wet look.

AA-ron: yeah i know how to but since i was using gorrila metcap it wasnt possible, so i was trying to do the same effect in photoshop (cus im lazy) anyway ill just make the render again , and turn this in flayer i got to get done reall soon

i have alot of wips goin on here and almost nothing really done, my brain just jump to one thing to another in a heart beat, so sometimes in oder to not rush things i have to put them ko for a while (btw i like your name lol)
