What to expect when i get out of college in the 3d industry

Hey guys,

I'm currently a senior at Springfield College and I'll be graduating in May 08'. I currently have an internship i'm starting at Xvivo and by the time I graduate I'll be fairly comfortable with Maya/XSI and Zbrush. I'm kinda interested in getting into the game industry since my interests coincide with that kinda stuff, though movies aren't off the list or anything.

So I was wondering what should I expect when I graduate, how hard its going to be to find a job, what to expect for salary and ect. I feel i'm pretty good at what I do for only doing it for a short amount of time and a quick learner if that helps.
