I really like the tests you've made in your last picture, but I think you should put out a little more light on the characters face. You've worked so hard on it and it looks really good so show it off. I'm anxious to see your next composite, maybe you'll want to adjust all of your lighting post in Photoshop by rendering in layers. Just some random thoughts. Good luck!
