    Wink Maybe you don't know...

    ...this little trick
With the Smudge tool brush, when you press Ctrl a color is painting under your brush!
So it's like a painter brush
    Have happy painting
Is beautiful that please without concept! ( Me and maybe also E Kant)

quite a nice result and fun to watch, Pinoy McGee.

wouldn't mind seeing some of your brush juggling throughout
the process to see which ones you favor...thanks for sharing.

Thanks for checking these out WailingMonkey.

As requested, for this evening's speed painting I recorded a script along with the video. Before running the script you may want to dock the tools palette to one side, if you haven't already, to see which brushes I used.

Scripts for downloading: bogey.zip (script has a crash bug at the end, which I don't know how to fix, so beware)

Out of curiosity, are you using Zketchpad for these?

    hey Pinoy McGee,

    Thanks for sharing that!
Sadly, I get a z-crash on the script about when you're detailing the
dash and HUD (quite quickly into it, unfortunately).

I appreciate your effort though, and learned a bit just from the early
stuff (I don't do much with Zbrush in the painting department, mostly
just for sculpting so it was helpful to watch).

    cheers.

    P.S.
Here's the error msg for any Pixologic-types interested:

No, but I think I used the 2.0 edition of zketchpad once before. I'll try the latest version if there is one.

WailingMonkey, sorry about the crash. I think stopping the movie recording before stopping the script recording is the cause. I tried to see if I can edit the txt file but didn't see anything I could change.

    Howdy Pinoy McGee,

No worries...if you're in the mood in the future and you think to record it
that'd be cool, but no pressure here. I appreciate you recording it in'
    the first place.

    cheers.

    Default ArfGrafix speed paint

I enjoyed reading this entry and became interested in the speed painting so I gave it a try I set an environment similar to the sketchbook script and see how fast I could put together one of my simple landscapes with just RGB, the picker, and a few simple brush changes. I enjoyed this exercise and will be returning to it
I was just too dog gone lazy to record

Cool enviro ArtGraf! Lookin' forward to your next painting.

    -------------

This one's titled "Snack Time". I used Frenchy's smudge brush tip on this one. Worked pretty good Frenchy!

    Thumbs up nice!!!

It's so cool to see someone do this.

I get so carried away with 3D that i forget you can simply "paint".

Thanks for the vids and well done.
