    Thanks for the compliments guys.

Thats very interesting how we have almost the same workspace at home. Even down the the freedom of teach model sitting on the right side of our desks.

I started texturing the head in Zbrush with some Poly Painting. Then brought it into photoshop, and then back into zbrush to fix the seams. Here is a quick render from 3ds Max.

This is still one of my favourite projects here on the ZBC. Every time there is an update I'm excited.

Keep going mate, this is great progress and looks great.

my cat Pixie after Pixel die

nice texturing so far , did you render this model with sss ?
becouse the effect of the back scatter is missing at least in is ears and that can realy improve the render .

There isn't any sub-surface scattering in this image. Its just a quick render set up with anisotropic shader and default lighting in 3ds Max. I've got some friends at work that are going to help me set up some the final materials when I get down to rendering the whole scene. If anyone has suggestions on how to do this in 3ds max, I would appreciate it.

    Smile texturing the body

I've finally had some spare time to work on this again. I spent a couple of evenings texturing the body, now I'll get to move on to the rest. This is just a quick beauty render from 3ds max.

The head is using a diffuse, specular and normal maps all 2048
The body is using D,S,N as well at 4096 resolution

    Amazing!
I love the fabric detail, almost has a medieval / A. Durer feel to it_beautifully realized.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes

Santis -- Thanks for keeping up, I know its been a while, I hope to finish it all soon. I'll be starting to texture some of the earlier characters in this thread soon.

Noggin -- I'm glad you like the fabric. I think some parts are more successful than others. Much of it was interpreted from the concept or just plain made up. I think I will use more real reference on my next cloth attempt.

dustbin1_uk -- Thanks for the encouragement, I think you've posted more replies than anyone else on this thread. Thanks!

Swisher -- Thanks for the compliments. I got the concept from my friend Mark Nelson. His website is: :http://www.grazingdinosaurpress.com/...mark/home.html
