I am also a ryoko fan and Great work on her also. Dont worry about the rating. THere is an obsessive compulsive 1 star giver out there who I believe likes to 1 star everything and hes too chicken to take responsibility and say why. Five stars for tackling a difficult subject (anime) with superb results

Interesting in a creepy way. Hehe, it is always interesting adapting one's style to be like another's. Overall I think it's a great attempt, but I'm not sure about what the image is supposed to induce in the viewer. However many here think you got something right, so I'll defer to those more on top of this.

wow, awesome looking ryoko! the realistic nose/mouth seems a bit odd (well, obviously not used to seeing that on her face), but very good job!

I'd suggest work on the robe a bit more than plain? maybe a black/maroon like her battle outfit?

Jason: Your opinion's very welcome here. This whole affair has definitely been outside my 'box', and I'd think twice before tackling something like this again. The intention is really just to put a smile on my friend's face (he's the anime/Tenchi fan )

As I've said before, really enjoy your usergallery. Lots of great things happening in there. After seeing your work I had to see more. Sadly I can't respond to everything on this forum, just too many good artists and threads. Now seeing this thread again, I just had to say great job and very informative thread, much like your scared silly entry tons of info in that one. Its threads like yours that show great images and different ways of doing things that help others push forward. Keep up the great work.
