    Default The Captain

    picardwall-small.jpg

I was in two minds whether to post this or not, mainly as there have been rather a lot of Patrick Stewart sculpts of late. He's not finished and probably never will be for that reason. I picked Patrick from the early Next Generation series for a change. (LOL I was getting sick of doing wrinkly old dudes. )

I would have liked to spend some more time on it really, but alas I needed a quick head for something and this was knocked out to fulfill the purpose. OK now this sculpt is out of my system, onto other stuff.

That's great! One of my fav. captains!

Q: Who's the guy in the chair in the background?

I haven't a clue to be honest. I was just way too lazy to find an image to use without some dude in the background.

Well I was sitting here bored tonight so thought I'd add a bit of detail to this. (it was also an excuse to test out the grey modeling shader I was messing aorund with this afternoon... the idea was a cavity type matcap I could get a good 'read' of the sculpt with. Not the worldds most exciting matcap, but useful to me.)

Started a bit of texturing but not finished, this is one of those sculpts I can't help but keep messing with. Hopefully I'll get the urge to finish the texture for him
