To use the bump viewer material most effectively, you should create a fairly high resolution texture, and paint it in Texture Master (with the bump viewer material applied).

Otherwise, the detail you add will never exceed what you could have done without the bump viewer material.

    Does this make any sense?

The bump map you create is resolution dependant, and without specifying any texture dimensions, you're effectively working with one pixel per polgon. You want more than that.

Hi Ryu your model is working very well, you can in small portion of the model fine details if:
1.-In the transform palette you add noise to your draw brush
2.-You make small mask portion, inverse and then pull/push a little bit with small draw size or in that area you can add noise
3.-You can use alpha and dragrect with Zadd or Zsub and add this way folds to your model
4.-Increase tha H and Vdivide(High Polimesh) you can also manipulate in detailed way specific areas.

But I suggest to way for the expert team...be sure they have the autorized response.

    Congratulations
ps:if you have a script or tutorial of your work i will appreciate, your modeling touch is fantastic and I want to learn bromyou, if it possible.

Ctrl-Z, thx a lot, i effectively didn't realize that, so now i'll be able to really use this mat...But once the bump made, if a change of mat, will i keep the bump?
