Was this last one all done with the rake brush? How? I'm having a bit of trouble understanding uses for the rake brush and could really use some help.
    Thanks.

Nope it was not entirely done with the rake brush, but most of it.
First iīve tweaked the polysphere with the move brush on a low
subd level to get a headlike shape and then pulled out the nose.
After that the standard brush was used to rough out the nostrils,
mouth area and cheekbones and then i decided spontaneously to use
the rake brush on this one together with the clay brush to get some
more volume where needed and with smaller sizes for corrections.
Started the raking with the default values except for the brush
size and did a first pass.Decreased the intensity and the brush
size for a second pass.Subdivided once more decreased the afore-
mentioned values again for the next pass.If i remember right i
did four rake passes correcting sometimes with the clay brush
and the rake with the appropriate settings.
Btw i did this to get some understanding of the uses for the rake
    myself.
Maybe you should take a look at the recent ryan kingslien-threads
or his rake brush video,if you havenīt already, very inspiring.
    Hope that i could help a little,J.

    Jmeyer,

Pretty interesting things you got going on here in your thread. Each of them have a lot of personality and character. Keep up the good thread!! Not sure why your thread is only rated 3 stars, rating system i'm starting to think needs to go. Rating says 4 stars is good and your work is at least good for sure. So going to give you 5 stars to boast your thread, well deserved!! Keep em coming!!

it is great that you just keep experimenting and pushing with these faces and even better that your sharing your approaches with us here as they are inspiring. You are making a lot of progress quite fast with this and you experiments with wrinkles and expressions are excellent. I will keep coming back to this thread in excitement to see your progress.
