really nice work! can you tell a little about how you rendered it?

I think this is really, this coming from the desert of Africa – Namibia

Would love to attend siggraph one day when our currency recovers, if ever?

Wow! Very nice. 0_o

rrohey Damien Canderle…i allways like your works…i like the fleshy type of characters…
i dunno but i think this render is little noisy…
i think the “Perso_02_” is better for your presentation…its my personal Idea…
Great anyway

this looks very good (like all your pieces) :+1:
what renderer you used, mental ray ,vray?I’m still trying to achieve a good render of a zb model:(

delicious as usual :+1:

Yummy! Great Stuff! :+1: :+1:

Oof! Tough looking alien, and great render! :+1: :+1:

Looks like one of the tech guys at Pixologic after the update!

Very GooD Maddam!!!

… like all your work! :sunglasses: :grimacing:

A sens of details and moreover, this “special touch” in all your renders very particular that make your own sign.

J’adooore! & wish you the best!

Excellent work.:+1:

Very professional.
5 stars.:+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

A very good piece to study detail-modeling, texturing and lighting.
Can you give more informations about your workflow ?

Hey Maddam,

That looks perfect. No crits that I can see. I think you nailed it. Good luck on the presentation. I think everyone will be amazed with your work.

Cheers,
Nate Nesler

Btw, this guy looks so strong because he has ‘fumbari’.

This is a term in japanese sword descriptions and means ‘strong stand’.
A sword with fumbari is much wider in the last few centimeters towards the hilt than it is in its other curvature. The japanese smiths added fumbari to their blades because it is a sign of strength every human recognizes. You find this triangle-like outline with wide stance and strong legs also on early buddha sculptures.
Very clever to use it in such a picture to add dramatic and power to your filigran-sculpted creature.

Excellent.

great job ! and i love all your aliens they all awosome .

very nice expression on his face
