Eso va teniendo muy buena pinta!
Looking good. Interested to see more.

Hello. I have begun by the lion, defining the general forms and the visual flow of muscles. The idea behind the model is to describe the moment at which the lion is struck by the zebra. It is possible that it is the last battle of the old lion; or it is possible that still it has forces…

----- Gracias JuanVal !! ;^) ----

Awesome! I like the way you captured the motion.

I have worked with the zebra a little more. I still need much work: the lion’s air and face, enviroment, etc…. I made a test render…

Thanks ashe!; the tool transpose is very useful for pose the models!!

Hi!!

I have had a little time today to work in the model.
I have decided to make the hair in Zbrush… a little slow but it does not displease to me as it is in some parts. Despite I must work it more.
Also I have thought that both animals are crossing a pool and the lion has mud in the hair… and also in the zone of impact of the kick of the zebra.

This is just too cool! Love the hair on the lion. There is a lot of movement on your image but I think the zebra should hit the lion with more power. Looks like the foot is just missing the lion. How about an impact on the rib cage or something?

How many polys do you need to reach this level of details?

Great work mate, keep up at it.

I particularly like the tail hair  lol cool!!! congratulations

Thanks McFly_ and jmesias!!
you are right McFly_ with the kick of the zebra. I am thinking about it, … Thanks.
Also I am thinking that they are crossing a marsh with the water splashing violently…
The lion has 3112960 polys and 293888 zebra polys.

Thanks McFly_ and jmesias!!
You are right with the kick of the zebra, McFly!. I am thinking about it,… Thanks.
Also I am thinking that both animals are crossing a marsh with the water splashing violently…

I like the style… just one problem… The male Lion is a very lazy one and leaves the female to do all the hunting. That big mane just gives away its position

El-d

great stuff, the only thing I think would add to this piece would be streatching out the lion’s paws and have his nails extended ready to grab the zebra.

Hello.
I have changed the pose of the lion and the zebra; and I have begun to detail the zebra…

el-d I know the hunting customs of the lions,… I recognize that I avoided the reality, in order to obtain a more spectacular image.
On the other hand, it could be a male lion with much hunger.

njmaxaddict One of the next steps is to put the lion’s nails extended to grab the zebra. Yes, and a bit of blood…

This is fantastic so far! Love the stylized look too. The action and pose of this is so cool! The only thing I don’t too much is the lion’s mane. Seems uncontrolled spiky, although it works.
