    While I'm in the process of texturing the teeth and eyes, I figured I'd post up a screen grab or two of the detail pass. Like I said, I didn't use HD geometry, so in some areas, the details aren't as crisp as others. Still, I think it shows up pretty well in the key places (chest/stomach, head).

    Love the new texure colors.


    Any hints on how you modelled the wings - ZB or another app? They pwn me every time when I try to do them in ZB.

    Thanks. I modeled the wings in Silo, along with the rest of the beasts. ZBrush was used to further enhance them of course (texture, displacment, etc.).

    Thanks! The armor was modeled in Silo with slight edges and then I used the Pinch brush in ZBrush to sharpen them up just a tiny bit. The details were added with alpha masks I made by combining various fonts into an image. The clouds were done in Photoshop by hand and added in later as an afterthought.

    Here's something I'm still working on. It's a concept piece for a comic book that I'm helping to create:
