    Default Darth Plagueis WIP

    Hello,

Here is my first attempt at making Darth Plagueis.
Since their wasn’t any real reference of him I wanted to start with his face, just to give me an idea of what type of character he has.
The scene I am doing of him is on his death bed, I’ll have a rough sketch of this scene in a few days.

    Thanks for any comments,

    Garrick.

This should be fun to watch!

The only thing I'm a little worried about is that he doesn't look too threatening ATM. But the sculpting is looking great!

According to canon, Plagueis was a Muun, which generally don't look very threatening. If anything they look very tired

That's interesting! I need to enlighten myself more about the Star Wars universe. Huge fan of the movies, yet not too knowledgable about it's more in depth lore.

So, I guess for a Muun, he looks pretty threatening!

Looks like an interesting project so far.

From what I've read, it sounds like the Muun are the Star Wars equivalent of the Ferengi from Star Trek.

The direction of companion mind should cooperate with rescue at lighting of a red lamp,or a buzzer. Please give me connection from a nearly extraordinary telephone.

Isnt it good that he is deceitful in his being threatening? Thats a cool sculpture I can't wait to see the final image.

If this is going to be from his death scene, I take it you are going to have the breather attached, and this was just a sculpt to put the initial mold together?

Excellent conception btw, much better than the a-typical muun images I've seen of him so far. I really appreciate the strong roman-esque nose as I imagined it very thus from the author descriptions in the book.

Really looking forward to seeing you finish this, many props & kudos on it thus far!

It was impressive enough that it scored ZBrushCentral my sign up

I never really finished the scene but I did a few test renders of him and Palpatine.
I felt that Plagueis was blinded later on in life and this would have given Palpatine the opportunity to poison him with a glass of wine at bedtime.
Anyway I wish I could afford to buy his license and make him into an actionfigure.

    Again thank you!
