This is the matcap material I used for Conan's skin. I included the sphere texture so that if you want to change the direction of the light, just rotate the sphere in Photoshop and reimport into the matcap.

The first image shows the material applied with no polypainting. The second image is the sphere texture you'll need if you want to rotate it. You'll need to match ZBrush's lights with the direction of the light in the material. Also you'll get the best results with only using one light with between 35-90 aperture.

    Have fun!

I finally had a chance to look at the matcap stuff last night so I thought I would share my materials. I am looking forward to playing around with it a bit more to see what it can do.

    Hey Malc2304,

Your SinCity03 is fabulous, like a panel prepared for painting, finely gessoed with no blemishes. I can seriously see myself using this.

    Cool, thanks everybody.
I'm guessing the answer is no but I'm still going to ask a question just in case:
Is it possible or will it ever be possible to export these materials directly to other software like max/maya?

It would be another little revolution...

Edit: By the way, talking about revolution...It's really not related to the topic but check THIS out.
