Ice Enviroment 3D Matte-Painting

Hello friends, I had a little time to finished my new 3D matte-painting. I used 3ds max for the basic mesh of the enviroment and for the render with textures. For the modeling I used one reference also for the texture. Zbrush for the details and final 3D objects and Photoshop for painting of some details, colour/light correction and for the final matte [img]http://www.mattepainting.org/forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I saw this over at mattepainting.org and I was going to write a response… amazing work! The lighting, the composition, the detail all contribute to making this a beautiful piece.

Stunning.

Well done, matte work always gets peoples attention as it it so far from the norm around here. It’s always great to see more variety in the uses for Zbrush…

Wow. Please do some tutorials!

Its so hard to get a good sense of depth in Zbrush. You did a great job here.
