First model in Zbrush WIP

I'm very humbled to show my work here with so many great artists around...

I started this model about 5 weeks ago for a Zbrush 2 class I'm taking...I'm now working on an Alien character that I'll be posting here as well for my final assignment...but I want to finish this T-rex too. Both models need to be done in 3 weeks, so expect frequent updates.

I'll be working in Zbrush 3 from now on.

I hope you guys have great comments to help improve this model...

Updates on the Alien model

Good start on both models. I will give you my two cents worth on improving them.


The T-Rex...the front arms seems to be a bit too thick and a bit too short too if I am not mistaken. The body seems to not be bulky enough....he doesn't seem as muscular as he might be...(of course, you may not be finished with the sculpting yet, I realize). Also, the back legs seem to be a bit too squatty (short). But nice detail all round.

The alien head seems to be nicely designed and the modeling looks good so far.

i think the t-rex's neck need to be a little skinner not to skinny.

You mean skinnier but no too much? I was actually going for an older T-rex, a little fatter and worn out, but I'll give your comments a try. Thanks!
