Default Hidden alphas and add your own default materials & textures.

Notice anything different with the Zalphas? Yes, Zbrush 3 comes with a set of secret alpha brushes! This is not one of them Lemmo's April Fool tricks!!! For those of you who've been tearing off their hairs from all the ZCrashes, chances are, you've scanned thru the ZFolders, but wait, what's that one folder on top? it says GnomonAlphaLibrary! Inside, you'll find alphas for bumpy skins, leathery skin and scaly skin!

But how do you use all those alphas easily without loading them one by one in photoshop or clicking them one by one to see what they look like in the zbrush import alpha window? Using the alpha browser? From gnomon or marcus'? But would i load? (as of this writing, there's yet a z3 comment on those two)

For the answer, head to your ZStartup folder, where you'll find Alphas, Materials, Textures folder.

Just move the hidden alphas to your alpha folder, reload ZB and voila! Click on the usual alpha pallete and pick your previewed alpha!!! This also works if you have custom textures and materials you want to add, just add them to their respective folders.

Actually, the screenshot of the alpha pallete above is a bit of an exaggeration: I added more alphas then there is hidden within zbrush, but you get the idea. . . . April fools! :P
