Default My First model in Z-Brush

I have been using 2D packages for sometime now and have always been interested in 3D, started to play around with Rhino and Vue 5 and then downloaded a trial of ZBrush 2, the learning curb is steep so I tried out MudBox, as someone said it was easier, well I read about ZBrush 3 and decided that after seeing all the great workout there it was time I spent some of my hard earned bucks on it and 3 days ago I downloaded it, and here is my first work.

I must say, I have always admired Meats Meiers work and have been visiting this site for sometime now....

This package is going to drive me insane..... Thanks guys

Please comment.... as in Namibia - Africa nothing much goes on as to 3D.

    Default 5 months later

Hi, this is some of the work I have done 5 months since purchasing and receiving my copy of ZBrush 3.0... my first try at polypainting too...

I have used Silo 2.0 in the hand at the bottom, thanks to Bingo_Jackson and still so much to learn...

Keep up the good work, this forum is my Breakfast and night cap...

    Default Hand

Thanks BirdMan and elarcano, I still don't know what I am doing most of the time, but it seems to be working and I am enjoying it.

The best is, I am going on about ZB after 5 months and then I see a lot of you out there that have been on for years and still you are raving about the program...

Happy ZBrushing........... a bit of work on my hand.

    Ziggy

    Default Time

    Hi to all out there.

Time is always a factor in life, so much we want to do, and so little time.

I wanted to enter the Scared Silly contest, but time got the better of me, so I've added some old work to this post to keep it going...

Keep up the great work, happy zzzzzing!

    Default Thx

Thanks guys, I too am still new to ZBrush and the 3D arena, so most of my work is trial and error... the skin was made using alphas....

Don't ever give up... wish I had more time, as this is purely a hobby, 3D work is not popular or in demand in our country...

    Enjoy Ziggy.
