    Default Trapped

Hi guys this is how I feel when I use Zbrush...
Once you start there is no escape

This is 100% zbrush, with a lot of 2.5D painting. And a simple render

Critics and comments are very welcome

    thanx

    Hi kalimamboh,

I would say that the mouth needs to be deeper set and more defined. The unique characteristics of this humanoid are somewhat hidden by the cage structure, so it's difficult to understand what you are seeing at first. By defining the details more, it'll help viewers reocognize the creatures characteristics better.

Also my opinion is that he is too brightly colored (the creature and the cage), maybe that's what you are going for, but it seems too neon-ish to me. I would almost like it better before the color fix, if the contrast and brightness was bumped up a little. It was at least more organic looking in that version anyway.

The eye looks pretty cool to me, it's the first thing about the creature that I notice. It is a unique way to do a creatures eye...very interesting. Good wireframe technique as well...Meats would be proud!

    Keep up the good work.

"Meats" is the man! It's people like him who spark our imaginations and make us see that there is always some untapped secret potential lying in the depths of Zbrush. Someone has to create these fantastic methods, right?

I once read how the programers of Photoshop were in awe, over the ways people were using the app, in ways that it was never designed for. Interestingly they were quoted as saying "Photoshop is being used in ways we never thought possible, all we did was lay the groundwork."

With all of the talented people in the Zworld creating special techniques, I wonder if the Zbrush team are scratching their heads occasionally too?
