    Default first Zproject

    Hi everyone!

Just started ZBrush last week with a DVD tutorial. Didn't have much 3D experience other than Google SketchUp... however, loved ZBrush's intuitive organic sculpting. Felt really natural.
Background of this pic is of course a classic photograph - location here in Thailand.
Will probably not polish this model more than this (even though it needs a lot more to be done). Would like to go on to other models and also get into abstracts. Anyone have any tips for abstract ZBrush art?? Would love feedback and comments.

    Cheers! ALEX

My 1st and 3rd ZB models. All 1-hr or less sculpts. All pure ZB. Never used ZB3 prior to this.

    Default My first post

my first sculpture using ZBrush. I started with a 3d sphere and used no reference. I haven't tackled textures yet, just basic, white for the eyes and skin for the rest, materials. I used a pretty old Wacom Graphire 2.

DeltaT, those are some nice first works, i see some polygrouping nightmares though. Its nice that not only did you make a model, but a final picture as well

    Default My first attempt

Here's my first attempt at modeling using ZBrush 3 demo version. I love software and it's ease of use. Of course this is really basic compared to what some people are creating. Can't wait to polypaint this guy and then start on a full character sculpt. This took me about 2 hours but I did watch all the ZClassroom videos which I'd highly recommend to any other newbies!
    C&C would be appreciated
