displacement export - subdivision level

i’ve got a little question.

does zbrush export each subdivision level when exporting a displacement map (even the highest one)?

the reason i’m asking is i made a head with wrinkles and pores on it at its highest level. when i export the displacement to maya (as discribed in the zbrush-to-maya-guide) i can’t see them. i think that the exporter doesn’t export the highest level.

i’ve got 6 levels on my mesh.

what are your experiences with exporting? do you get 100% of the detail you 've seen in zbrush in the applications you’re exporting to?

first: sorry for posting in the wrong type of forum. i finally recognized it. :idea:

second: after re-reading the zbrush-to-maya guide and the multidisplacement 2 guide i know the answer now by myself. it is: cavity maps -> then you even get the fine details. creating is very simple with zmapper. in your mental ray app you can use it as a bump map.
