    Default Dumpling Squid

Hi guys, this is my first art post here. I was looking on the net and saw a dumpling squid and decided to make one for myself.I used Zbrush for refining the squid shape, and painting a diplacement map, and modelling the rocks and stuff in the background. I also used it to hand paint every texture in this picture. Rendered in XSI.
    Hope you guys dig it!

    phonicsmonkey,

I really like the little guy He looks very real, and kinda' cute for a squid.
    A beautiful image alltogether.
Well done and worth the effort. I'm giving it 5 stars.

This is a pretty cool looking scene! You're depth of field is hurting it actually, as it is too blurry. Wonderful colouring on the little fella.

Terrific scene. However, I also agee with Jason Belec on the Depth of Filed thing. Other than that it's cool

Thanks guys. I put such heavy depth of field on it to make it seem like he was small, he was looking a lot bigger than he was supposed to be with less of the effect. Maybe i'll make another version with less dof to see what everyone thinks. 'Til then
