Default In Progress - Model 1

    Hello all....

This is the first model I'd like to share with you. I'm new to ZBrush and this community and would appreciate your feedback regarding my modeling skills. I'm a Surrealist Painter and Graphic Artist, who happens to love to sculpt, and now I "LOVE" ~ ZBrush!!!

Thanks in advance for viewing and commenting.

    Peace!

    Default Not Bad

Not a bad start dude, I would refine some of the facial stuff a little more. But you knew that!

Thanks for the welcome, Andrew... Nice to see a familiar face, indeed.
I'm going to have to search for your images on here... Have you posted anything?

Thank you for the feedback..... Let me upload the latest version, and see if it's any better.

I'm not done adding elements, or painting yet, but here ya go...

Out of curiosity, is there any way to fix the seams? - When I painted this, there were all sorts of artifacts on the model. I had to open the texture file in Photoshop and paint in the areas that weren't painted properly with ZBrush.

Thanks in advance for your help........

    Peace!

I like the creepyness of it. I think the bright colors may be lessening that effect, but I don't know what you've got planned for it either, so I'll wait and see what you do with it.

    Nice start!

    Default Imperial Wizard

Well, after working on this for three days and having to paint and repaint it many times, due to problems with broken seams; I gave up. I guess it will take some practice before I can properly sculpt and paint what's inside of my head... it ain't pretty folks!

Anyways... Would appreciate some constructive advise on how to avoid running into this problem in the future. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

    Peace!!!

    Default Nothing yet

Nah Trecman, your a braver person than I! I have yet to post some of my works here. I think once I am more comfortable with handling my brush work, I will post some things.

    Default Better and better.

Trecman, the model is looking better and better. Totally loved the scene that you put the wizard in! If I might suggest a few things... Once you have your texture wrapped... check out the mask function tools. You can use the texture to generate a mask! The only down side to this is that you may need to add more polys but, your wizard will have even more of a "scaley" effect, that you could see the specular highlights bouce off of!

Hi Andrew... Many thanks for the suggestion and the feedback! I will give that a try.

Hope you're having a great weekend...

    Me? I'm in ZBrush heaven!!!

    Peace!!!
