    Default censorship

i'm getting the hang of this 3d stuff, still have aways to go. I did most of it in zbrush. then it started to crash (a lot). so i had to finish it up in photoshop (background/blur)

    Default lighting

Verrry good skin--- issit SSS shaded as well? very nice with blur.
    The underlight is very illustrative.

wondering about the horizontal wrinkles at the jawline.... everything else fits perfectly; perhaps more neck musculature on straining... ?

*Beautiful lighting, BTW. So, in what s/w did you render?

This piece shows the beauty of ZB for you to realize your earlier sketch in full 3D. Congrats!

I could see more straining. yeah the jawline didn't turn out and I was to lazy to fix it. I was using the alphas that Rick baker had posted on the neck ( hard to see). so then I did it large on the jaw ( mistake).

    Default 'nother iteration

Rownd, how bout one with the chain and block replaced with a huge, frayed power plug into his 'socket' head?

Tell us about your concept of the block.

I'm not really feeling the block on the head. In the concept, it appears to be more of a plate bolted to his head. In the render it looks more like he was born that way. It comes out way too much and doesn't look as surreal. There could be more straining and the wrinkles around the mouth are great, they just need more definition. Keep working at it and manipulate it until your uncomfortable with it. If your fine with how it looks, then it won't work as well and won't be as convincing. Try putting more stress wrinkles or even tears on his scalp so it looks more like the plate is about to rip his skin off. Really great concept, can't wait to see an update!

The bleeding tears--- a miracle reference or ebola virus?

maybe some flesh inflammation at the implantation sites?

just wondering of your intention............ it may already be done!

I'll go for more stess/sweat...but I want to stay away from gore. not the point on this one. it would become more of the focus if i did and I'm not sure that would help in the believeability. tears of blood ....not so literal.
