    Wink New image....

Its been a long time... I actually just found out about this place recently when I finally got around to upgrading to version 1.23b..... I recognize some old faces (Southern, Robo Talk... ect)
    and alot of new people.
I've been working on some 3d tools for the first time in a long time so I got this little image...

    Good to see everyone around!
3d models I used are basically everything.. I finally made myself a good Eye model thats a nice color and I'm happy with.. I don't think it fits real well with the head but eh... who cares... I'm not that picky...
the head model is pretty simple.. made in about 30 minute with a few minutes difference here and there for tweaking...
The hand is what I intentionally opened Zbrush up today trying to do again. I've always wanted to make a good 3d modeled hand.... this looks ok at that angle... its an edited sphere... if you tilt it to a different angle is looks terrible. For all I know it doesn't even look believable at this angle but I'm happy for now... I'll probably hate it in a few hours but now its good enough..

    anyways all.. till next time..

The eyes are really fine--as a total pic I think it works well because of the expression+eyes+hand postion...as a work depicting an emotion the hand position + facial look is dramatic --the total adds up to a good image--but when you pick it apart -you can find flaws if you want to---but why??--it's cool and tells a 'story'

i like the reflective material in the eyes.. and creative character... and heres a tip for axe... most of the materials in zbrush can use a reflection texture in their use... all you have to do is open a material that has a texture highlighted at the bottom change it to whatever texture you want and change the reflection value in the material panel.. thats it.. good luck..
