I started doing a model...and after a wile I got bored and played with it in 2.5D. Ok, I know it doesn't look maori...but this is the first thing that came ijn to my mind.

Always good to see people experimenting.

Out of interest - have you given up on fusing ZBrush with Bryce renders?

First I layed 3 cubes, then I engraved them in 2.5D with different brushes(fiber and simple) and different strokes(mainly the spray stroke). Then I rendered the image with depth,GI shadows..and all the stuff. After the rendering I made the translucency effect with the highlight and glow brush. I created the light effect by using the simple brush and dragrect stroke, with a low saturated yellowish color. The smoky athmosphere is made with the spray stroke.

This is a house modeled by a friend of mine. He is studying architecture.
The image is rendered in zbrush, and painted also in zbrush.

This is amazing work! I am very, very impressed. Did you have any formal art training? This is extremely close to being art gallery worthy. Keep pushing the envelope and if you have any highres printable renders, try submitting some to a local gallery. I'm talking 4'x8' canvas prints, stretched and framed. You would be surprised what some galleries take. If they don't take anything it doesn't mean they don't like it, just might not fit the current show the curator is doing. Give it some thought.

Thank you very much for the appreciation!
I don't have any artistical background...I'm a med student in Timisoara, Romania...med student is not quite the right term because last month I just finished the 6 years of Med University...and now I have to finish my diploma thesis+the licence exam+the intern exam...
If it doesn't work with the Medicine stuff..then maybe I will focus all my powers towards CG.
