    really stunning work, ralf! gratulation on this piece, the details are so interesting, all those liittle pieces, the hair etc. Only the lightning might be a bit dramatic for my taste, but it sure looks great - as always 5 stars from me!

    btw, I´m not sure but I think its not ZBrush, its WinXP that can only allocate 2gig for one application.

    Thats great Ralph, I can you can tell more wich parts are flesh and what parts of his body are wood n moss. I prefer this image. Would stil like to see him in a scene.

    his head reminds me a bit of some of the guys on the "jerry springer" show.

    I prefer this image as well, although the skin and wood areas look too similar in material making it hard to distinguish. It could benefit from the wood being less specular. More contrast in materials.
