Tutorial: ZBrush Z-Ship

Hi All,

I created a zscript to show users a quick way of putting together a ship using zspheres. Inspiration for the zscript came from saltapiedras who originally created a step by step tutorial found here. This tutorial falls under beginner and intermediate level.

I noticed in saltapiedras tut he had diff kinds of ships - rounder, etc. If you get into doing more diff shapes would you post them. zspheres and zmarkers are the hardest for me to learn

Yeah, it makes a difference in how you add your deformation. Saltapiedras ships are rounder and smoother due to the Inflate deformation, where as the one I created is slightly more angular and harder edged due to the Size deformation. A combination of both makes for some really interesting deformities. You can also add smoothing after Inflate or Size to get some really tight clean rounded edges.

I'll definitely post some more ship experiments over the next couple of days if time permits. - J

unfortuantely i cannot read spanish ithink thats what it is, please dont be affended if it is somthing els. and cannot understand the tut.

if i could just ask you what is that texture thing you do in your script to make the detailed shapes on your craft?
