Looks like you're having a lot of fun! I know the feeling. I just learned about Zbrush at the beginning of last week. Keep taking your time learning and experiencing the tools ZBrush has to offer and it really starts to get wild

Ok stil trying to get a better working flow with this mouse i have (cant wait for my wacom tablet in 2 days! ) but i am getting there...
This time i created again just a simple Zspere and i thought by myself HELL..lets see what you can make from this today boy!
...result after a couple off hours...lmao!
    Sphere1a.jpg Sidefront1a.jpg
    Front1a.jpg Side1a.jpg
    Back1a.jpg Sideback1a.jpg
Even though this also isnt anything what can be labeled as realism/beautyfull...i just HAVE to say..in just a few hours creating this.. there is NO WAY i could do that as fast in any normal 3d program!
3d modeling has become so much easier to do now i KNOW i can just DRAW 3d!
    *thinks about the possibilites*
<---and quickly decides to continue his lessons

Keep it up, I've started a thread similar to yours showing progress on my own first Zbrush modeling attempt. ZAddict is certainly a good work for it. Good god this program is fun.

If not finding out about ZB's power up till now bugs you, wait until a year from now when your still finding out what tools do, and things that take it to about 10 other levels. Trust me you have no idea, or maybe you do, but that was the case for me. I've had it for "i don't know" must be almost 2 years, and I feel like I am using it at it's potential for the first time now.

Let me share with you one of the biggest things that took me a looonggg time to figure out, and even then I only learned it, after someone pointed it out to me.

Under document menu, make your document big, draw your stuff, then use the AA half button to view it at a final rez... makes a huge detail difference.

    GOOD luck, and Happy Z-brushing!

Ah..after i came from work today i was wondering:
Can i make a face on my char without a Zsphere for it in the basemesh???
So i opened Zbrush opened up that catsuit file from the basic simple Zsphere model ..and started to LITERLY DRAW myself a face...
    results in 45 minuts:
    face1.jpg face2.jpg

Lmao! so it is possible to draw a face even WITHOUT a zsphere for it? just simple drawn from the neck? LMAO!

Anyway even though this face is my first face i ever created in Zbrush, i am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOoooo not going to use this godawefullugly thing on this char i am making! *it was just a test*
And i have decided because of the fact i had to divide my model a zilioen times more even till the point beyo-ond my Memory (cleaning my HD now to get some space again ) to get this head, that i will just make a Zsphere for it this way i can go really detail on this head without me worring that i will run out of memory...(part of the reason why this head is so ugly...cause i could not devide more ..i was allready over the limits..and that other part? *couch*noobinesh*)
<--gos back to his Z study

    Smile my third strike

Well..today was kinda weird..*urk*.. Well i had a talk with someone at work today and we talked about aloot of 2d/3d art and stuff..then..it had to just come to a point that i had to talk about the 8 wonders in the world..he said 8? i thought there only where 7? lmao..nah i said, nr 8 is most DEVENITLY the big Z from Zbrush!
After i told him all about it he offcourse wanted to see a little demonstration at my place.
after 10 minuts i got the dude HOOKED and he is probably now saving money to get Z
Anyway during my little demonstration instead of using that catsuit model to build on again i used the same based Zsphere and starting something new..after that 10 minuts demonstration..and he left, i just came back to my pc and thought *Urk*? whats this?..hmm..this looks kinda interresthing..
And i decided instead of working on my last wip to just keep working on this one and go with the flow, here is the result after 6 hours :
    Sphere1a.jpg
    1.jpg2.jpg
    3.jpg 4.jpg
    5.jpg 6.jpg

Yep..even i dont know what this alien/zombie/wtfseacreatior is!
But...i am not saying that this is any good but..DANG!
This after only 6 hours and being a total no0b and working with just a mouse LOL?
    *read my sig*

Anywas kinda funny and i thought hell, why not post it
Well this is gonna be also a wip and WHO KNOWS what will come from it right? lol
*graps tool and says: to the mountians of Wips with you!*
I will work on that catsuit wip and a whole lot of other wips aswel soon while i am studying my Zbrush tutorials
Cya again with another no0b wip in this treath -=*SOON*=-
<---go's back to z and start playing like a kid from 5 with a spidermansuit on

Again today after work i had a little TO MUCH fun with Z! Lmao!
After creating again another simple Zsphere i decided to this time create myself just for fun again another face (after the disaster with the first little face i created for that catsuit model i devintily wanted a next try )
    Result after 5 hours:

    0.jpg
    1.jpg 2.jpg
    3.jpg 5.jpg
    4.jpg

I think i will call it my *Evil Killer Clown* or some sort
Well its stil no0b stuff offcourse but this just proof for me that Z is the one to make my characters with and that I NEED MY WACOM TABLET NOW!!! I HATE DELAYS!!! *gets a gun*

Other then that..cya next time with another -=*no0b*=- wip...
    VERY SOON!

Very interesting work so far...looks like you are having fun and exploring possibilities...

You about made me choke on some clam dip I just made, when I just read your new word, "wtfseacreature"...I am still smiling over that one..thnx...

Though I like the breasted body model, I am liking your head model just as much...maybe "pull" the chin out/forward a little bit?
