    Default ...as requested

Well, I dont know about cool but here is a render from ZB and Maya. Very rough. Referred to the anatomy from Klaus too so I apologise for any poor resemblance. The latter (Maya render) didnt work out too well and Im not really prepared to fix it up. Was fun doing tho.

Will have a proper play with your canvas in the near future and will be sure to mention the base.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Coye!

I think the mainthing on has to try is to keep some defined lines in the model and then add more subtle small details as needed. If everything has the same strength it will probably end up looking noisy or "blobby". I think a good way of doing this is work for big detail on the lower subdleveles, less freedom is easier sometimes . (to be honest i think i went abit overboardwith kinski too!)

For the render it looks like its got way too much scattering!

    take it easy,
    seb

Yes, very blobby and no, Kinski is just fine!

I was actually going for an exagerated model on reading your post on Kinski then started pushing back in... and then I got this! was a little embarased to send actually but your feedback is true to a lot of my weaknesses... (well, in 3d at least).

Good advice regarding working on lower sublevels... as is dropping the jelly like SSS.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    Default Kinski?`

Hey, is that Klause Kinski? It sure looks like him. He must be dead by now.

hello all! great base model sheb, although i had some trouble around the mouth and ear area (probably my workflow
i did a quick head based on one of great Petey Konig's concept art...it's just a start and the perspective is wrong (rendered in the user view in ZB) but still ok i think...
will put more detail in it when i have some spare time
    thanx for the canvs Sheb

    Thumbs up

    First post here..

A big thank you! For uploading the Canvas - This is my first "serious" fooling around in ZBrush. I Donloaded the ZB2 demo yesterday, so unfortunately, this picture is all I've got..

I might add, that all of this was made using the "trial and error" strategy.

Edited a bit in Photoshop, since I havn't figured aout to assign another material to the eyes yet.. (I'm very new at this.)

Edit: Now I need a good skin material, (anybody know a good one?) since I'll probably get fed up doing zombies all the time

Thanks for the canvas Sheb, LOVE the Kinski sculpt, great skin texture too!

You probably know this, but Cesar Dacol mentions this thread and the mesh you've so kindly provided in a new tutorial from Pixo. Quite a testimomial having Cesar use your mesh, it MUST be good! Also, he mentions that it was made in Z2 and obviously hes had to make subtools for the eyes etc. Perhaps you'd consider doing this to your mesh in Z3 (which I assume you have - unless you're on a Mac), as Cesar doesn't tell the punters how to do it themselves?

    Thanks again!

    Default Extra topology lines

Just hold you Shift key down and hit the Uncrease button. Your double lines will return to their original single line status.
