I'm joking!Don't be provoked by my words...

You wanna know how I made the skin phores?Nothing special;I've turned on PROJECTION MASTER>DEFORMATION and used different ALPHAS and ZINTENSITY.You can find all that you need in the ALPHA AND DRAW PALETTES.

REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN MODEL WITH DIFFERENT ALPHAS ONLY WHENYOU'RE IN PROJECTION MASTER MODE.
IF YA WANNA CONTACT ME TO ASK ME SOMETHING SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE.I'LL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU IF I CAN.

Good morning/afternoon/evening (depending from where you're in the world...) guys!!!!

CIROMAN:The material's still in WIP so it can't be considered seriously.Regerding my RAM is 1 GB,but my computer has been repared few time ago and now it use only 50% of his power.
The higher subdiv. level that I can reach eith my orc-dude is 9,exactly 5111808 polys if I remember correctly.
I've used nothing special regarding alphas, only a combination of the default ones...Number 06-07-08 and 22,but I'm not so sure of my memory in this case...
Anyway you've got only to try...It's very simple to made wrinkles and skin pores like this. With some experience you'll find that I'm not so good....

    Thx for comments!!!See you soon.

PILOU:This could be a good idea but it's only a bust for now....

Today guys we have some new stuff!!!Hope you'll find it interesting...
Here's some PS sketch to show you what I have in mind. For the ones who know the rpg the stile remembers some illustration of the Dungeoins and Dragons manuals.
    Hope you like it....

The first pic shows various kind of wild creatures orcs,uruk-hai and trolls(this last one is based on the cave-troll of the Lord of the Rings).
I had a fun to show different stiles for every pic.

    Orco_pergamena.jpg

Here I'm working on the orc's mount a giant horned beast, similar to Star wars Reek. But the reference seems me too "fat" so I "slimmed" my beastie.

    Bestia_pergamena.jpg

The third pic shows some details of head, teeths and scales as can see without any explication.

    Bestia_perg_part.jpg

My idea is to transform all this models in 3D,hope to be able...
Now I'm working on the armour of this "little dog",always in PS.Next I'll see how can I do with ZB.All for now guys, see you on this oage to the next post.

    C&C are welcome as ever

    Default Very impressive!

Even the early wireframes in flat view have a very artistic appeal to them! Thanks for sharing all this WIP detail.

Oh well, i'll still have to buy more ram since i only have 512 and i can only work at 5-6 subdivisions and therefore can have only one undo/redo at such subD's. Thanks for the alpha info, ill try to use it wisely . And awesome sketches you have there, wish i could draw like that, do you have a digital drawing pad by any chance?

    Abyssis:Thx for compliments my friend!

L.Mithchell:Glad that you like my work. Hope to see you again in my little space.

Ciroman:Yes man,I think you should buy more RAM...regarding subdivisions I'm not sure of this but I think that the max subd.level depends also by the complexity of your model.

Aminuts:Hope to create good ZB maodels...

    See you guys,

Really great illustrations!! I've saved them into my folder full of only the best monster sketches.
    Keep up the awesome work!

Edit: Whoopsie, last post 3 weeks ago. XD; Forgot I'd gotten here through a sig link and not from the main listing. Just as well, since nobody ever oogled this latest drawing properly. ;P

I like the way it's starting out. Love horned beasts. especially those made of zsphere's, I do hope you are going to keep it poseable. Droooool.
