    Default In the Wild Lands....(WIP)

Hello guys!!Finally after a long long work for my exams,I can come back with some ZB stuff...With this new work I will show a wide range of models that I'll develop for many final compositions. In this sense this work is very important for my 3D way.I hope to reachimportant purposes with this.

Anyway the theme chosen is the FANTASY.Hope u like it guys...But it'ds talk enough...let's see what can we find in the Wild Lands.

The first model is a Orc head.Inspired by an Uruk-hai berserker.

    Work Process:Zspheres,Skin and Displacement.

Here's some wireframe view to control the model topology.Maybe this will become an animation project that I'0ll develop together with a friend. For now just look at this and tell me what do you think about it.

It's all for now.Now I'm working on displacing and on material.May be tomorrow I'll be able to show you something.

    As ever C&C are welcome.

Good morning guys. Here's new updates,as I've promised some Disp.Map etc...

    Hope u like it...
I've added some wound on eyes and mouth, some veins and general deformation.Nothing special but the result is not so bad...

Maybe the inside-mouth part will be partially modified.I'm not satisfied yet.

A wireframe view of the Disp.Mapped model and next the same viewed at various Subdivision levels.I thonk that I've already told you guys but maybe this orc will become my first animation project. If I'll be able to solve some problem with the mouth's topology...For now look at this and tell me what do you think about it.

One of the most difficult modelling part:The damnedŖ$%& ears. They're not perfect but acceptable for now.

Here's some confrontation of my model with FastSH material and it's Skin Shader(not finished yet).Don't mind to the skin's color. It's not the final one.

    Dear MattHHH
Great work like always - I see how well you progress with your skills from alien to human-like characters. Very inspiring how little you use references for the skin. You asked me what I'm now doing - after moving to Chicago I am now working for Midway Amusement Games as a Conceptual/3D Artist for the latest Mortal Kombat cinematic. I am lucky to work both 2D and 3D and thankful for the chance to learn new tools like Motion Builder and UNREAL.
I wish you all the best and hear ya again - very soon.
Best luck with your great projects.

Drummer and Vivien said me merry Xmas and (for my Wip) to improving ear nose and eyes modellation.I answered that I've already tought it and I'm in process of perfectioning those details.

PINKARMAN:Grazie mille Luchetto!La produttivita e tutto in un mondo capitalista!... Che frasaccia politica che ho detto bleah....!!!!
Comunque colgo l'occasione x farti gli auguri di buone feste visto che in acca non ci siamo riusciti a beccare.See you...

    TRANSLATION

Some useless phrases and a other merry Xmas.

SUZANA:Thanks for yuor kind words lady.So you're working for Mortal Kombat uh?...Interesting.Do you know that one of the references that I've used for this "like-Uruk boy" is right a MK character?I think yuo should know him,he's BARAKA from MK2(very old chapter of the MK saga but one of the best ever produced from Midway).
Anyway maybe one day I will launch a thread based on MK characters...That could be a good idea.
Thank you for your "best luck" and for all the compliments...have a nice Xmas
and a good work with Midway.

As one of my friend sais...

    BEST LUCK LADY!

Ehi guys! After a small search to take some references (I should have made it before starting the work but...)I can say that the Uruk-hai bersrerker will be a separate model from this.In fact the starting reference that I used to make this
ugly dude was an illustration of the D&D manual...not so special...but when I saw it with my skin shader it had remembered me the Berserker...

Anyway now I'm working on some PS sketch to give you an idea of what I'm wanna do...

See yuo and happy new year everybody....

    Ah ah ah ah....

I speak italian 'cause I'm italian and I was talking with Quentin77,and he's italian too....
Anyway as you see I had already stop speaking italian before your reply.

I'm joking!Don't be provoked by my words...

You wanna know how I made the skin phores?Nothing special;I've turned on PROJECTION MASTER>DEFORMATION and used different ALPHAS and ZINTENSITY.You can find all that you need in the ALPHA AND DRAW PALETTES.

REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN MODEL WITH DIFFERENT ALPHAS ONLY WHENYOU'RE IN PROJECTION MASTER MODE.
IF YA WANNA CONTACT ME TO ASK ME SOMETHING SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE.I'LL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU IF I CAN.
