    thnx Note...

with your comments in mind I started modeling some new teeth (uppers) earlier tonight and played around a little more and then used Jason Belecs lighting and went from there and well this started happening ...may give this one to my friend to use also in his contest piece....if he finds it acceptable...

Nice, I like it. Maybe a tad fog around/behind the head could make it creepier. But that might ruin the clean look.

Hey Ron, nice thread, seems you're pushing it more, really enjoying the last one.
Seems like all your experience is really coming together. Good luck with the contest!
    Rock on Ron!!!

thnx Lemo...might take the same idea and do a completely different render while doodling...thnx

Joe...ma' man...thnx for the compliment....the little contest is more for my friends benefit...he needs the web design experience...but I was happy to let him have my images for that....he just has an art gallery link for submitted art and I was happy to oblige him with entries for the link on the site...the thing that kills me is that I have done literally thousands of zbrush images since 2001 and he likes my Noob works from back then as opposed to what I do these days I believe.....go figure the desires of what other people want as opposed to what the artist wants...lol...just boggles me though....the first prize for him I believe is an autographed guitar from the band Disturbed....I am only familiar with the "Down with the sickness" song...was on the remake of Dawn of the Dead...

but still with all my practice I have yet to find a single $ for my art...lol....sux

anyhoo....hope you have a coat handy....I think its going to turn cold tomorrow....stay warm stay healthy and by all means stay creative.

    thnx guys,
    Ron

Hey Ron, that looks really great! Sort of a late-night moon face.
The cheeks seem a little sunken to be obese (?), but it still works from where I'm sitting.
Hey I hope you win that guitar, Disturbed is from Chicago btw...
Do you play? Most Nashville (and vicinity) locals do ya know, or play some sort of noise-maker.

So your new render there, seems alot more subtle, teeth are smaller too, seem to fit the head nicely.
The darkness of the eyes work well too... just a cool color balance that pulls it all together.
Hey will we ever get a three-quarter view of this guy?, (or is that out of the question).

Yes it's getting cold up here in the Windy City, but don't you worry now, we've got our longjohns!

Ughh... money - art... art - money... that's an age old conundrum bro...

Looking forward to more of these characters you're developing, and I'll buy that guitar off ya, if you don't need it!

    *edit*
Hey great, with the 3/4 view, we see the relationship of the upper and lower teeth, nice overbite.
Like the way you've played with the lighting too.
So the moon idea wasn't tooo far off after all.

    Hi Ron,

I like the hazard chamber concept. It sort of has a return of the living dead (ROTLD) feel to it. In ROTLD the zombies pretty much couldn't be killed no matter what, so after an outbreak, pretty much the only thing they could do was seal them up so they couldn't do any harm.

I like the fog concept, but only in the chamber. I'm sure you could swing that with some post zbrush compositing.

Also, if I may make a suggestion, I think you could really make it slicker by adding collets or rings where the conduit meets the box and likewise around the lights. Some plates on the door and rivets or some such might make look cool too.
