For game models, go with adaptive. Unified skins would have too high of a poly count.
Remember, for adaptive skins it's also best to make sure none of your spheres intersect with each other. That way, you won't get any strange creases in your model.

thx guys, and namek how is it that your putting the pieces back together? Multimarker?
If I have to rotate the model afterwards , I use multimarkers. If not I just place them together in the scene and snapshotting every object. A lot of blurring is needed to cover up the transitions of the body parts afterwards.
Still I think a mesh made with multimarkers will not be any good for a game model unless you can find a way to clean up the mesh in another 3d program.![]()
