3d Hair modelling

Can anyone share any special techniques for how one can model hair in zBrush?

I’m thinking about creating hair in something like Shave and Haircut then bringing the finished piece into zBrush. Any suggestions would be appreciated?

I usually use the alpha trick.

  1. Choose an alpha , make 3d, and change the z size

  2. then apply the modifier twist

A quickly and functional trick

Hope it help

Thank you Sir. Another question.

Isn’t there a utility program that allows you to pick up objects that you’ve dropped previously?

You can do that with multi markers.

There’s a script in the zscritp utilities forum called markermaster that helps a lot with that.

Thanks Bill. Just checked out your site. Slick work. Cool concept.
Where did the name WARG come from?

Thanks for the feedback.

First time I ran into it was when I read The Hobbit in the sixth grade. I thought it worked well for a name and it also works as an abbreviation for wargames.
