This is a character I've been working on for a new Gnomon DVD on Alpha Texturing, as well as a character for my Tethered Islands Project.

This was a rough model that was made in XSI, then formed out and detailed in ZBrush. Also I did all the maps (color, bump, spec, trans) using ZBrush.
As well as the costume. The final render was in XSI.

can you tell me how to get the tutorial on this...and maybe some info on it. I it mainly maya or mainly zbrush?

Wow, this is really amazing. Top row material for sure coming from the great artist like you. The final image rendered in XSI is purely amazing!!!

Absolutely inspiring stuff Mr. Sims! Just have to say that XSI render engine sure makes things look sweet. Now if we can only get Pix to revamp the ZB render engine
