Finished ZScript: HEXcolor

screengrab.jpg
This little script is for those who want to use HEX color codes to indicate color in their zscripts.
Hex color can be used to change text color in notes, text rectangles and pop-ups - simply use the special characters \C followed by the HEX value.

To install, unzip the contents to your ZScripts folder or a convenient location.
The files
HEXback.psd
HEXhelp.jpg
should be in the same folder as HEXcolor.zsc.

Load the HEXcolor.zsc file from the ZScripts menu.

For full instructions, Alt+click on the button.

Thanks all,

And thanks are due to you Sven, because you suggested this idea a while ago when I produced a little tutorial about notes.

You don’t know how many times I wished I had something like this.

Now I do, thanks buddy

excellent…this will beat using colorviewer and having to turn it on and off constantly!!!

Thanks Marcus!!

4r2 no chance for update?

Yes, I use this still so here’s a version for ZBrush 4R2.

  1. Unzip to your Desktop and move the HEXcolor_4R2.ZSC file and HEXcolorData folder to your ZStartup/ZPlugs folder.
  2. Restart ZBrush and the HEX Color button will be in the ZPlugin>Marcus Tools menu.

Instructions:

  1. Click the button to launch the HEX Color interface.
  2. Alt+click the button for help.
