hi, not a bad start....from a sphere or a zsphere start?

if from a sphere, you might want to check out the practical guide and using zspheres.....it makes the creation of heads easier in the getting proportions right department and is easier (and harder) in some ways to begin sculpting a head but it does give you alot more choices in how you approach how to go about it.

and as always good reference material is a must!!

    keep on experimenting!!

    hi,

I like the skin alpha....did you do that in pm or is it apart of the material? If it's just a Pm'd alpha then one thing I would do is smooth some of it out......if ya look at your face in the mirror...at the same distance as your monitor to his face you will see that some pore and wrinkle/skin detail seems sharp while some seems not existant. It will help give a more realistic feel to the face rather than a perfect digital one.

    other than that...keep on zbrushing!!

YESS! This looks better. Go on! Take care of an unnatural color of the skin.
You did a good job also with the cheekbones.
