    Nice rhino ash,

cool to see the progress, I agree. On the final picture you used the source image to texture the diffuse I'm guessing. That looks good, I think the colors would really pop more with a gritty bump and/or spec map also. When i picture rhino skin it seems very rough and sandy almost. Great work! can't wait for the dinosaur project!
    Peace

Thats awesome work mate, cant wait to be able to try something like that! Biologically speaking the main problem is the upper lip, which needs to curl down over the lower lip more and come to more of a point - if as i suspect, yours is a black rhino. The white rhino has quite a different head, and the mouth is wide and flat as they eat grass. The black rhino's muscular, hooked upper lip helps it pick the right leaves as it is a tree browser. The horns are great, but just look at where they join the head again, you had it right in the earlier models. I'm trying to upload on e of my paintings (NOT 3D, just paint please forgive me if it doesnt shrink, I'm trying to make it small ), to show you the joins The inside of the ears should be a bit 'dirtier', but the skin creases and textures are fantastic. Great work,,,Keep it up!
