    Default Crucifixion

This is my last work,I worked initially with Max 6,
just to define the initial shapes of each model,
after that I used Zbrush to polish the models and add detail.
The textures were done in Photoshop and I used Vray for the final rendering.

I look forward for your comments and suggestions.

Your lighting at the top of this is spectacular. It loses a bit of something at the bottom that detracts from it some (for me anyway), but other than that minor nitpick the image is incredible. Very nice work.

    I like it.

I like it that it probably more realistically portrays how he looked than most images or carvings will ever do.

I like that the image shows how his crucifixion made him a mainstay in religion today.

my question to you is, are you trying to show how organized religion is a bit lost in it's message...well long gone from it.....or.....what? I get mixed messages...but I realize they are cuz my religious background makes about 90% of folks cringe if I talk about it. So, I am curious I guess as to your thoughts on creating this cus i find it interesting. And well done. And disturbing, yet not really...as in....it's about time.

    etc etc.

So I thank you for this image, You should be proud, it is what it is, and a hundred folks will see differently....and see differently with each viewing! That is what any of us could only hope for in a piece of work. It's what makes it last more that 20 seconds.
