Default Likeness Study; J. K. Simmons

Started this couple of months ago to work on my sculpting and to have some fun creating the skin by hand rather then painting displacement and i liked how he looks so i decided to finish him more or less.

Off to a good start! Room for improvement: lighting and backdrop (the black shirt on black background makes it hard to get an idea of silhouette and shape of the model) and the eyes. Eyes can make or break the likeness. Right now, there's not a lot that we can make out, both in the shaded view and render.
Finally, adding some facial hair would go a long way, too.
Some good details in there now. Just keep plugging away!

Thanks for your comment and yes you are right about the shirt and background i should probably change that. I was thinking about modeling the wall but didn't find the time yet. As for the hair and eyes i was trying to get it as close as in the movie but yeah there is room for some more improvements as there is always hehe.
