Witch King

Hey
This is a model I did on my free time, based on the concept image from

In this project, I wanted to try and rely as much as I could on using just Zbrush. Mostly to modify old habits I have for doing certain modeling parts.
I used a lot of Dynamesh, extrude mesh, and IMM as well.
Only a few pieces of cloth were done using cloth simulation.
Final render was done using Vray. The shader was made using a combination of VrayDirt and VrayCurvature, no UvMapping.

Love it !

Glad you like it!

I love the silhouette and design, would love to see it more closely. I feel the renders are not doing it justice

Really glad you like it!
I´ll see about posting some closeups

Your work is awesome!

Am new here and to z brush but this was the first thing i saw it has inspired me to get to work keep up the great work…

That´s great man!
Thanks!

very well done! did you export a decimated mesh to render?

Hey! Thanks
Actually, I exported everything at the highest subdivision level. I used subtool master to export every subtool automatically.
Then, imported every .obj into max, with a script that imports multiple objs.
Finally selected every object, and converted them into VrayProxy.

The great thing about this method is that, if you decide to modify something, you don´t have to re decimate the mesh again, or worry about re generating displacement maps.
Just export what changed and that´s it.
It worked very good for me, since I wasn´t planning on moving the character.

Great work! and impressive

Yeah, this is fantastic. Well done.
