UVs on high poly model from low poly problem

Hi,

I have a problem in ZBrush. I done some sculpting in ZB and then make a low poly version with decimation master which I import in max and make UVs. Then import it in ZB and project all details from high poly. So far so good, export low poly and seems ok, UVs was there. I need model to 3D visualization, not for games, so its better high poly version for me. I go to highest subdiv level and export object. Import it in max but UVs are mess :frowning: Dont know what I can do about it. Please can someone help me?

You need to use the ReUV option. Also, are you subdividing a decimated mesh?

Yes. I found when I do zremesher, its ok. When I decimate, ReUV solve this or I cant use decimate?

Iā€™m no expert, but as far as I know zRemesher is good and decimationMaster is an older tool.
I would not use decimation master.

check also all possible settings in max (UV smoothing etc).

the only way to solve such issues is to make test with a simple object
and check step by step, at which step something becomes messed up.
