    Lightbulb The Safeguard

    Hey guys,

Here is one of the new things I've been working on. It's a character inspired by the dark sci-fi world of Blame! (a manga by Tsutomu Nihei). If you haven't heard of it, or read it, you should definately check it out.

This is a more slick hard surface version of the proto-organic style of robots from the manga, but I hope you like it.

Modeled in Zbrush and rendered in Keyshot. The clay renders are BPR renders out of Zbrush. The hair was a mixture of Ornatrix and Zbrush. Zbrush was a beast for tackling the final small tweaks to the hair meshes.

Let me know what you think!

Here is a clay render I did in Keyshot using area lights. I like the result, but adding area lights really slows down the rendering speed ALOT.
