Great work. Especially good work on the face :smiley:

great work

What a gorgeous model! Would you care to share the workflow on the hair?

@Dantert & @gabo1991: Thank you!!

@monster_machine : Thanks! The workflow for the hair was very similar to this one: https://cdnb.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/001/528/689/large/zaphk-hairminitut.jpg?1448032768
The only big difference is that I didn’t use Curve tubes this time. I just blocked the shapes (http://puu.sh/xKcum/39abce9e2f.png), separated into different hair locks and sculpted each one. (https://puu.sh/xKcvY/6b95a32a49.png). I also didn’t merge all the parts in the end.

Thanks for the insight! Looks amazing!

Can I ask one more question (sorry). What is that matcap you’re using on the last link you sent of your sculpt’s finished hair? Love the way that shows form!

It was Zbro’s z8, his matcaps are great! http://luckilytip.blogspot.com.br/

Oh yeah! The ZBro matcaps! I forgot about those. Those are really great. Thanks for the reply!!!

Hi, how did you make the eyes of the boy so shiny? Is it a matcap or did you use an external renderer? I would also like to know how you achieved the almost painterly look in the preview image. Thanks

@Dilated Pupil
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it’s a matcap Zbro eye reflection http://luckilytip.blogspot.com.br/

About the painterly look, it’s polypaint.
Here’s the material and light settings:
