I don’t post very often, but as I work out my new workflow, I hope to do so. This is a diversion from other projects I have been doing, and is mainly a model to take me through the learning process from ZBrush to Substance Painter and Marmoset Toolbag 2. Original concept is purely from my head. Thanks kindly for scoping.
These are re-renders from Keyshot of the Cthulhu figure I did last year. Better lighting and more angles.
Nice job dude!
Thanks Danzo!
So, I worked up the nerve to ask if I could do this based on the original artwork of Bernie Wrightson. To my surprise, and everlasting gratitude, I got permission to sculpt it in ZBrush. This is a work in progress render of the Crocodile Xenomorph he did, not yet posed, textured, or any detailing put in yet.
Spoze it is time I worked up the nerve to start posting in here again. Working on a project that may or may not see the light of day, but regardless of that, I am having some fun with it all. Most of the work on this has been streamed live on twitch too (https://www.twitch.tv/jamesneely3d) More pieces to come…

Total redesign for the bases of the pieces today. Pretty happy with how the ossuary look of them came out. Starting to tie in together at last!
