Sketchbook Vol.3
Man...it's been a while. I see the forums are still packed with artwork from another world...Love it..Decided to start up another sketchbook, I'd been working as an environment
artist for the last few years and kind of got away from posting..just got home and passed out..but..might be time to change it up...been thinking about making my own clothes and toys
for a while now..so that's where we're going.So to start..I need a robotic mannequin that I can outfit...Nothing crazy..just trim clip,clip curve with some diferent intensities(gives a nice bevel).
Designing this guy on the fly...working on the head tonight and I'll record (alot longer and I'll throw in some jams).

Got on the topic of art with a co-worker today figured I'd show them some of your work. They were amazed as was I. Truly talented bro. You still in the Atlanta area?
This is Mike Fell btw. Hit me up some time if you still got my number. Hasn't changed.
Cool project I want to make a robot in the future as well, you just got me inspired.

Mr Spooky : Thanks!! Good to get back posting....
Sho3d: Thanks!
Miked3003- Mike Fell in the damn HOUSE!!!! What's up man?! How you been? I'm definitely still in the ATL...I'll give you a call tonight (Thanks for checking out the work)
Renderluz- Thanks
Okay so the video isn't ALOT longer....but there are jams now...Just using this metal material for presentation...the final mats will look like plastic..or some carbon glass composite...some dust and scratches...
Got a little more done...working on finishing up the legs...This mannequin will be for clothes and such (so he'll only have two arms) but I wanted to be able to attach some extra arms for some other concepts I might use the unit in as well...
Looks great
thank you for the video

The king hath returned! Looking forward to seeing more amazing hard surface skills.
Sho3d-Thanks! Sorry you don't like the proportions...I have however made the legs a good bit bigger and balanced out the arms (a little long but this is on purpose).
kendo- Thanks!!! Great to be back on the forums!
Adjusted some proportions and started playing with some materials...just did a quick pass for now..No need to get crazy since this unit will be covered with clothes mostly....
cool bot! can't wait to see the cloths too.
RyanLove- Thanks! Congrats on you Top Row!
On the subject of the clothes...I've made some prints(Using one of my old bots) that will cover the back of the first two shirts...maybe do some all over prints or large as possible...
A bot wearing a bot shirt..I suppose that's alright...
