    Lightbulb #AskZBrush: Updated December 15

Pixologic is pleased to bring you the #AskZBrush system -- an exciting way to get answers to your questions about ZBrush features.

More than 244 questions answered, and climbing!

Using Twitter, simply ask your question with the hashtag #AskZBrush. Our experts @Pixologic will review the question and where practical follow up with a short video containing the answer.

The #AskZBrush system is set up to provide answers to questions that would generate 3-10 minute videos. Our specialists won’t answer broad training or tutorial-type questions such as, “How do I sculpt a full character?” Rather they will focus on specific questions like, “How can I sculpt on thin pieces of geometry?” or “How can I display reference images with SpotLight?

Keeping the question simple and specific will increase the odds of your question being answered!

We now have two playlists. The top one is for #AskZBrush Vol.2, which will contain all videos created after the release of ZBrush 4R8. The lower playlist is the archive of the original videos, with 200 informative answers.

Here is the playlist from #AskZBrush Vol.2!

And here is the playlist from #AskZBrush Vol.1

This will be useful for everyone. There are so many things in ZBrush that get overlooked due to the approach and methods I have become comfortable with. ZBrush has so many features and functions that, unless your job is to dissect the program, you'll never touch on every aspect.

    Huge Thanks for this!!!

    Default Thx

Thank you... after 7/8 years of training myself in ZBrush I tend to love these, as even though I may know how to do many of these, there is always something new I learn, even if its just different route our a button or quick key I pick up...

While learning ZBrush and you don't learning something new per day, consider that day wasted... so keep them coming... and I hope Keyshot follows suite...

    Brilliant!

Ah, this is the first practical reason that I've heard of for using twitter!

As usual Pixo, you guys go above and beyond.
I especially love watching a video about a specific topic but also learning an unrelated better technique to replace something I've been doing for years.
    Never fails.

    Thumbs up

What a nice idea! I love you love you love you Pixo guys for these gifts to your fans!

I'm finally not-a-ZB-noob, into possibly the 14th edition of custom UI and having lots of fun with ZBrush - yet am still discovering cool gems I didn't know exist!!!

Mwak mwak mwakkkk keep up the good spirit!

Default A better way?, deleting unused tools from project...

Just make the tool you want to keep active and tap the R - to reset the pallet. -S

@Ls3D: The 'R' button only restores the visibility to the default configuration and doesn't remove tools. The models are still loaded and will save with a Project file (*.ZPR.) Below is an image example.
